Hey Michael,
I'm afraid you're showing your lack of knowledge of Twitter here. And
maybe a little lack of a sense of fun.
A tweetup is just a gathering of people who use Twitter. Whether they
post during the event is optional. The main point is to meet each other
in real space. But others who can't attend can do so virtually through a
web cam and, yes, twitter. (#rtctweetup)
The character limit on Twitter is 140.
Most of the people who use Twitter are adults. You may be thinking of
MySpace.
