Leadership Development Program and this year the application deadline is
Friday, Nov. 13, 2009.

Through the program, participants will have an opportunity to hone their

sessions over the course for four months. The 2010 session dates are
January 21 and 22; February 4 and 5; February 25 and 26; March 25 and
26; April 15 and 16.

Cascadia Center for Leadership, a program of the Humboldt Area
Foundation, is managed by Mary Gelinas and Roger James --- who also
co-direct Gelinas-James, Inc., an international consulting and training
firm. As a team they offer cutting edge leadership concepts and tools to
seasoned business and community leaders, and strive each year to reach
new participants with an interest in positive collaboration.

"Cascadia continues to provide a unique opportunity for leaders from all
sectors to learn and grow together for the good of their organizations
and the region as a whole," Gelinas said. "Roger and I feel privileged
to work with each person who commits themselves to their development as
a leader and contributing member of our North Coast community."

Other members of Cascadia's faculty include Dr. Robert Maurer, director
of Behavioral Sciences for the Family Practice Residency Program at the
Santa Monica-UCLA Hospital; and Peggy Mark, a partner in the
organizational consulting firm Breakthrough-Partners, LLC.
