Greetings RTC Community!

Apologies to RTC members who received some of this information 
previously through the RTC site.

We've recently completed an upgrade to the site. However, unless you're 
a frequent visitor you probably won't notice much difference. Most of 
the changes are behind the scenes. I think it's easier to read and a 
little roomier in the layout, but for non-members the functions remain 
the same except for one new feature. We finally added a tagging/keyword 
system to locate members with certain expertise. When you go to the 
Member Roster (which is up to date now with current members 
http://www.redwoodtech.org/member-roster) you have the option of 
checking one or more skill sets to locate people. Those terms can be 
added to so if you have suggestions send them directly to me. However, 
the Members have the responsibility of tagging themselves as there is 
now way we could do that for them. It may take a while for them to get 
that done so search results may not be so great for a while.

One other thing we have added: All email address that appear on the site 
are not obfuscated from spam harvesters.

Adding new features to the site will now be much easier, and I am 
excited by the possibilities. If you have any suggestions as to features 
you'd like to see on the site, again, please email me directly.

If you are not a Member or have not yet renewed from having previously 
been a Member, now would be a great time. As we are in the second 
quarter, rates have lowered: Business members: $75,  Individual members: 
$30, Students: $10.
