[RTC List] Broadband speeds and stability for streaming video?

For the sake of argument lets just assume I'm right... and SuddenLink
(SL) provides up to 8 Megabits per second and the Roku needs at least
1.2 Megabits per second then you have way more then enough bandwidth for
it. Now adding in the problem SL is having (mostly in the evening and
Sundays) you can certainly use the Roku; just be aware that while this
issue remains you will have to be careful WHEN you use it. I download
my content for this very reason but you could use the box if you watch
shows "off-peak" so to speak.
