[RTC List] First Luncheon - Redwood Coast Connect

Greetings RTC community. Our first luncheon of 2009 will be held 
February 2, 12 noon - 2 PM at the Plaza Grill, Plaza Room (where we have 
our annual holiday party). The program will consist of a general 
networking period, lunch and a panel discussion. The panel for this 
event will consist of Steve Karp Project Manager  of the Redwood Coast 
Connect, Kathy Moxon Director of Redwood Coast Rural Action and Tina 
Nerat from Neratech. They will be presenting the final results of the 
year long study of broadband deployment and needs in our region. While 
the final report has not yet been released it is expected to be by the 
time of this event or shortly thereafter. This should be a provocative 
and informative discussion given the changes in telecommunications 
policies happening at the federal, state and local levels. Please plan 
to attend.

The luncheon will be a buffet with a chicken and a vegetarian main dish. 
Cost is $20 for current (as of 2009) RTC members if paid in advance. $25 
for non-members. It's also $25 at the door for members or non-members.
