Greetings RTC Members!

Please excuse the intrusion if you are not interested, but I thought you
might like to hear this exciting news from a couple past RTC Board Members
about a very special TV show airing this Sunday ...

My wife Rene (past RTC Treasurer) and I (past RTC President) are featured
with our dog Jerry in the February 15th episode of "NATURE," the
award-winning PBS series. The episode is called ³Why We Love Cats and Dogs²
and airs next Sunday, 8:00-9:00 p.m. on PBS (check your local listings for
exact time and channel).

Last Spring and Summer, the PBS folks followed us as we traveled with our
beloved canine cancer hero Jerry. They also filmed us as we took him to his
first oncology appointment in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

To say it's an honor to be a part of this is an understatement. The show
explores the relationships that we humans have with our pets and features
two segments with on-site footage of us with Jerry on the road. It includes
interviews  with animal behavior experts and many others who love their
pets, cat  people, dog people and those who have both. It's a beautiful
tribute to our  pets, and we're sure you'll enjoy watching it.
