[RTC List] Tech support question

Your basic problem is that your old router had no provision for sending
authenticated email and apparently there isn't an upgrade to add that
feature. My Terastations also want to send their logs via
non-authenticated email.

Suddenlink like nearly everyone these days requires authentication for
outbound email through its SMTP server. It doesn't require SSL or other
secure outbound, and uses port 25.

My understanding is that Suddenlink blocks port 25 to anywhere but its
own SMTP server, so if you want to use some other SMTP server it will
have to use a different port (e.g. Morse Media uses Port 26).
