of the development of a film & digital media industry for this area  
and I encourage all RTC members to support the efforts of the Humboldt  
Film Commission (now called FILM Humboldt).  Please forward this to

Kick off the 42nd Humboldt Film Festival with Local Filmmakers Night
A 'fun raiser' for the Humboldt Film Commission
Sunday, April 19 at HSU's Van Duzer Theatre, Arcata
Dine on great food by Bless My Soul goddess Marie Janisse, delights by  
Cassaros Catering, and BBQ tasties by Media Czar Philip Middlemiss.
Local Brews and vine nectars
Free movie admission for students with I.D.
General movie admission: sliding scale from $5 "to the moon, Alice"
Eats and treats: 5:30 pm
Movie magic begins at 7 pm
A special animation presentation by HSU alum Douglas Martin,
and a menagerie of local film and media shorts.
