Local Technology Leaders Wanted: Win a $1000 Cash Prize!

RTC Announces 1st Annual North Coast Technology Leadership Award Program 

 

 

September 9, 2008 -- Nominations are being sought by the Redwood Technology Consortium (RTC), to recognize an outstanding technology leader (or leaders), who are current RTC members. This new, yearly award program will grant a $1000 cash prize to a person or group who demonstrates leadership qualities in the technology industry, in areas including (but not limited to):

 

l  advocacy and outreach related to technology

l  innovative use of technology

l  technology training

l  marketing of technology

 

Anyone may nominate a person or an organization, including themselves, but the nominee must be a current RTC member (for a complete list, see http://www.redwoodtech.org/roster). Nominations should be no longer than 600 words, and submitted via the online form at http://redwoodtech.org/tech-award no later than September 30, 2008.

 

The RTC board will select up to five finalists, and RTC members can vote for a winner via the RTC website on October 15, 2008.  The winner will be announced at the RTC's annual holiday event in December.
