Collaboration Supports Advanced Lighting Workshop
Access Humboldt joins Humboldt State University and FilmHumboldt

Eureka, California – Access Humboldt and FilmHumboldt are joining with 
Humboldt State University (HSU) to offer an advanced lighting and skill 
sharing workshop for their members and HSU students.

The Advanced Lighting Workshop will be held on Friday December 5th from 
9:00am to 12 Noon at the Studio Theater on HSU campus in Arcata. Contact

HSU Film Professor David Scheerer is coordinating the workshop with 
technical wizards and lighting designers, Steve Liminoff and Jim McHugh 
from HSU, and Landy Hardy, DP/Director with Talking Pictures. Special 
lighting and grip equipment is being provided by Access Humboldt.

Patti Stammer of Scout Humboldt and vice president of the Board of 
Directors for FilmHumboldt said “We are nurturing local talent because 
our goal is to keep future filmmakers working here. This training 
collaboration is part of our collective efforts to build the local 
industry – it’s about job creation.”

become clearer with better lighting,” said AH’s executive director Sean
