Hello All,
One of the small non-profit organizations I (for free) do network management
and technical support for, has asked me to see if I can find a were we can
do some internet training at. All of the training is already developed and
I'll be teaching it, but they do not have their own computer lab.
They have ten (10) staff/volunteers who need to be trained, so we will need
at least 10 work stations.
They would like to be able to do their training on Tuesday mornings or early
Tuesday afternoons. Training will probably take 8-10 weeks.
Their facility is in Eureka so somewhere in Eureka would be necessary.
In addition to the ten work stations we would need somewhere for the person
doing the training (myself, maybe one other person) to be able to do the
presentations from. We would need a projector that can plug into a laptop
with internet access, so we can do real time projection training.
In the past they used a facility in Arcata to do their computer training,
but with recent changes in their scheduling going up to Arcata would just
not work out.
So, I am putting out a request in hopes that somebody has a facility that we
could use for 1 hour a week, for 8-10 weeks, with at least 10 work stations
that have internet access, plus a presentation platform with overhead
projector w/computer capabilities.
Hope, hope, hope!!!
Thanks everybody,
John B. Abela
