[RTC List] RTC will be giving out a technology leadership award

RTC List Members,

 

I'm pleased to announce that the RTC board has decided to give out a
technology leadership award.  We will annually recognize one or two local
technology leaders in areas such as, but not limited to:  

 --advocacy and outreach related to technology; 

 --innovative use of technology;

 --technology training; and/or

 --marketing of technology.

 

Anyone may nominate a person or an organization, including themselves, for
recognition.  The RTC board will narrow the nominations to a few, and a vote
by members via the RTC website will determine the winners.  Only RTC members
are eligible to win the awards.  

 

We will send out a request for nominees in September, so start thinking of
who you might nominate.  We'll recognize the winners at our annual holiday
event in December.   The award will be worth $1000 each.
