Cole, to answer your question, SoHum is served better than you might think
with broadband. 101Netlink wireless service covers a wide area (see the map
on their web site). Wave Broadband (formerly Starstream) serves Garberville,
Redway, and Benbow areas with cable modem service. AT&T has installed DSL in
Miranda. Yes, there are still gaps in service, but it’s way better than it
was 2 years ago. And I expect more coverage in the next year. Tina

What school district is this your speaking of? I attended an elementary
school in Southern Humboldt. Agnes J. Johnson in Weott. I have always
wondered how the build out of bandwidth has been to Southern Humboldt. I
never had any clients there so never made orders for bandwidth for So Hum.
Does anyone know about this?? I imagine Tina Nerat might know as she has
worked in Southern Humboldt with the NCSBDC and she has been pretty up on
the issue.

What is with this notion of plugging? wasnt this partially why the RTC is in
existence to help us build each others businesses and the techonolgy
industry locally? I dont see any issue with members giving "plugs". Without
it we would not ever know what eachother is doing with their companies,
products, services, successes and failures. I see it helpful to "plug".
