Uh, would love to know examples of RTC's "...corporatized, right leaning 
leadership and control..." Concerns of this kind should be addressed to 
board at redwoodtech.org.

Given that you have been a member of RTC for years you should know that 
the board is self-selected and not subject to membership vote. That's 
how the By Laws were written and so it has always been this way. 
However, any member is welcome to volunteer as a board member would be 
subject to consideration. We review membership and officer status at the 
beginning of each year. But new members are added as needed particularly 
when a board member retires.  Actually, anyone from the community would 
be welcome to volunteer for the board. But it would be unlikely the 
person would be elected without having been a member and/or having shown 
some other support for the organization.
