RTC folks,

I apologize up front if you get this more than once, but I also sent  
this to several other listservs.  I feel this is important, so it's  
necessary we get the word out as broadly as possible.

I don't know if any of you have heard, but thanks to information I  
learned from Kathy Moxon (Humboldt Area Foundation & Ca. Emerging  
Technologies Fund) there is a big new telecom player coming to our  
region.  This is a "stealth" company that I've never heard of, but I  
have done some research on them.  In a nutshell, this Denver based  
company that focuses on WiMax technology got a $267 Million loan from  
USDA (coupled with $95 million private capital) to deploy WiMax  
throughout rural America and, according to Kathy, they're setting up  
shop here shortly (McKinleyville & Fortuna).  I am writing to  
determine if anyone knows anything about this.
