co-creator of Visi-Calc, the first microcomputer spreadsheet program)
proposing the Office of Connectivity Advocacy.

Doc wrote the "Linux for Suits" column for Linux Jornal magazine for
several years in an attempt to explain the implications of what's come
to be know an "open source software" to business managers. He's
currently a Fellow in residence at the
Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
