[RTC List] Tonight's Meeting

Just a quick reminder that tonight's meeting is at the Humboldt Are 
Foundation Conference room which is just off Indianola cutoff just north 
of Eureka on highway 101. The meeting starts at 5:30.

The program for tonight is Chinmaya Lewis from the County of Humboldt 
who will demonstrate the power of the new publicly available 
Geographical Information Systems web site. If you aren't familiar with 
GIS it's the process of applying data sets to maps. So, in this system 
you can create maps of the county or parts of the county and place 
different layers of information on your map. It's a little confusing at 
first if you've never used a system like this, but Mr. Lewis will make 
it all clear.
